So I promised myself I'd keep this place updated and I've failed miserably. Thankfully I only break promises I make to myself. I know better than to promise anyone anything.
Life is clicking along at a rapid pace. I always get to this time of year and go "Whoa, where has the year gone?" It's now time to start thinking about Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I officially started my Christmas shopping in July so I'm really ahead of the game. The only drawback would be is picking the name of a family member that is say, male. I don't think they'd likely care for the items I've purchased thus far. Which reminds me, we should've picked names when we were together this past weekend.
I have a special favor to ask of anyone who happens to stop by here. We need everyone we can get to put their hands together really tight and pray really, really hard. The newest, tinyest and most precious person to enter our family is off to a rough start. Little Madison, born September 2, 2006 has had some respitory problems. She can't seem to breathe on her own. She's been on the c-pap for the last week and everytime they try to wean her off, she has problems breathing. She's now in the capable hands of the Children's Hospital in Chattanooga. My biggest concern is that they haven't let mom or dad hold her yet. I think that will be detrimental if they continue to deny her that. She needs to smell her mommy and bury her face in her hair. She needs to hear daddy's voice while she's resting on his chest. Please pray that the doctors can figure out once and for all what the problem is and get her fixed. She has a huge, crazy, fun-loving family just waiting to hold her.
TIA for your positive thoughts and prayers.
We Love You Madison Breanne

What a sweet baby girl. I'm sorry that she isn't able to breathe on her own. That's got to be horrible for the family to try and deal with as well. Hugs to all of you and I'll say some prayers for all.
