Is another school year gone? It went so fast, even the kids think so. They both were a little bummed out last night. We put this out front for them since they are both "Graduates".
I was a little disappointed at the ceremonies for O. They announced a boat-load of extra achievements made by the students, but her name was never announced. I really didn't think about it until they started making the announcements. I thought for sure that she would have earned one for Language Arts, Social Studies or Science, but nothing. She made the A/B Honor roll which I am completely satisfied with, but you always want your kids to do better.
M had a show on Tuesday night. He acutally got up on stage with all of the other 5th graders and sang and danced. Very cute. I wish I would have taken my camera. He's a middle-schooler now;(
We had a manager announce today that she's leaving. A lot of people are very unhappy. I don't work directly for her, but close to her office and know that her direct reports really respect her. I've seen quite a few people leave the company in the few short months I've been there. I don't know if I should be worried or take it as a sign that I need to look elsewhere????
