My kids got home yesterday, a day early. I guess there was a death in Mark's uncle's family so grama decided they'd come home early. They got lost coming home, but my little Navigator, AKA Olivia was able to get them home. She's such a smart chic!
Matthew loved his room. All we did was paint it and clean it up, but he was happy. We'll get him some accessories later on. First we need to get him a real bed.
It's so slow today. I hate being idle at work. I've heard that things will be picking up here pretty soon so I ought not complain because I'll probably end up getting slammed in the coming weeks.
My mom is recovering very nicely. Recovering from what you ask? Foot surgery. Didn't I mention it here? I guess I didn't. She had to have a bunion removed. Her poor toes are getting twisted and it should've been done years ago. All is good though. She'll get recovered from this one then have the left foot done next month. I worry about her being alone, but her friends seem to be taking good care of her. I just worry about her being alone and something happening and no one hearing from her or checking on her. I had a great aunt (much older and in worse health than my mom) who had lost her balance and fell into her bathtub. She stayed there for two days before one of her daughters found her. Thank God they came by during the week to check on her. Any of us, even those in tip top health can fall and become immovable.
Well, I can't think of anything else that needs to be said here to day. Sometimes boring is good.
