I've decided that Dirty Jobs on Discovery is one of the grossest shows I've seen. Tonight they were showing all the out-takes and things that didn't make it to the screen the first time around. They should've kept some of those on the cutting room floor. Tonight he was walking behind a dairy cow waiting for it to poop so he could catch it in a can and analyze it. Gay-ross! So I decided to come here with the hopes that I'd have something to say.
My neck and back are killing me. I had to get the days ailments posted.
I've managed to come up with a few things for my kids to do before the summer is over. They'll go spend a week with my brother and their cousins in TN. Nothing special is planned for when they get there, but they like to hang with them so it'll all be good. Des may take them to Nashville for a day trip (I'm hoping). My MIL is taking them to the beach next Friday for a few days and I know they'll have a blast there. They love the beach. Right now I'm ok with them going both places, but I know after a day or so I'll be missing them. We haven't been apart from either of them for more than overnight in our whole 14 year tenure of being parents. How sad is that? I'm looking forward to having some time alone with my husband though. Get your minds out of the gutter, I was thinking more along the lines of going to lunch or dinner and having an uninterrupted conversation. The 1000 mile round trip to Tennessee two weekends in a row is going to be a drag though, no matter how new our car is. My butt always gets numb. Numb butt!
We're painting this weekend, yippee! I always love the color when they're on the chips but when I get them on the walls I usually don't like them. I loved my red dining room though.
Tomorrow is Friday, the end of a very long boring week. We've been told that business should pick up in the next few weeks, a few new trials are in the pipe so that'll be nice. I'll finally feel like I'm acutally "earning" my wages.
I'm off to soak in a hot bath.
